Papilio clytia, commonly known as the Common Mime, is a butterfly species in the Papilionidae family, found in parts of South Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. This butterfly has a distinctive black and white pattern that mimics other species, such as the Papilio demoleus (Lime Butterfly). The forewings are black with white spots, while the hindwings are black with a pale blue or greenish tint and tail-like extensions. The larvae feed on plants from the Rutaceae family, particularly citrus species.
